Martinez look his age and much of that can be attributed to Cotto, who looked great. I was hoping Martinez could give mroe of himself but even though he came clawing back around the 4rth round, it wasn't going to be his night, that was apparent. Great job by Cotto.

cotto surprised me with his performance. it's like a prime cotto out there against martinez but more technically sound. he fought very aggresive but defended well. his counters and combinations were very good.

i won't join all these people discrediting cotto's win. nothing of these excuses getting brought up now about martinez was not known to all of us before the fight. we all knew he's old, past prime with bad knees but most of posters here (including me) still thought he would beat cotto. cotto did the opposite and i can't take anything away from him...he's a legit middleweight champion.
