He isn't looking at it like that though. He is looking at it like he is the champ and Cotto isn't. I see what you are saying but you have to remember, Sergio just had 45,000 people come see him in his last fight. In his mind, Cotto isn't pulling in numbers like that. I mean come on, the guy gets invited by the king and queen to dinners and stuff. They aren't going to invite some dunce in for a bite to eat....at least I don't think they would.

Prime Martinez vs Trout at a 157 catchweight would probably be a lot like the Trout v. Lara fight except that Martinez would hurt him badly and stop him in the mid to late rounds after dropping him multiple time. Martinez TKO8-10

Current Martinez vs Trout at a 157 catchweight would be more competitive, Trout might win a couple middle rounds on output but Martinez will finish strong late in the fight and drop him once or twice. Martinez UD (117-110 or 116-111)

Sergio by UD. Sergio is the better fighter IMO. I just can't see Cotto winning by KO. I don't think he can get a decision given if he wins his next fight is surely going to be Floyd 2 or Canelo on SHowtime, which would really mess up HBO's plan.
