That gif begs the question, does Mayorga possess equal, less or more power than Sexy? Are they physically around the same size too.
Granted, before the trolls come in, I'm only comparing power, nothing more. Cotto took some heavy shots there, and I only remember a body shot in like the 7th stunning himComment

Well I think Martinez at 160 lbs has more power than Mayorga at 154 lbs.Comment

I think cotto needs to use both hands to be effective. That's what hurt him against pac he didn't have the right hand to hurt pac. I liked in the Rodriguez fight that he was using the right hand to the body and head. If cotto can land the right hand it will set up the left hook and sergio has been dropped by the left hook by Chavez jr and the left hook set up the second KD in the murray fight.Last edited by -DSG-; 05-22-2014, 12:43 PM.Comment

I don't know why I'm so excited for this fight. It's a middleweight fighting a blown up past his prime welterweight. I really shouldn't look forward to it like I am.
I guess it's just the challenge alone that intrigues me. If Cotto wins this, oh man.Comment

Neither fighter is prime, that's what makes this fight interesting at all. Sergio turns 40 in February and Miguel turned only 33 in October. Cotto has certainly seen better days at better weight classes; but Martinez, a fighter dependent on his mobility, has had a couple of knee surgeries. What combination of pulses/negatives will win out? The answer to that question is a big reason why we're intrigued.Comment
