Face off is a nice forum to attempt to see into the mindset of a fighter. It appears both guys are very focused. Sergio as usual is *****ing and moaning because he thinks he should be "recognized". Here is the problem, look at his record in detail. 3/4 of his career he fought cab drivers, nobodies, he stepped up to fight Margarito and got bludgeoned, then went back to cab drivers. Finally, after fighting an old Alex Bunema, he fights an almost always disappointing Kermit Cintron in what can only be described as a stink fest. Finally after this he begins fighting good opponents but never really big time stars, with the exception of Chavez jr. I really don't care if Martinez, who appears to be a truly good guy is too ****** to figure out that boxing is a promotional biz, and that you have to take it or leave it sometimes.
Sergio may win but I think Cotto surprises a lot of people and outboxes him thru portions of this fight.Comment

And btw, when Cotto was the B side against Pac and Floyd, BOTH of them were announced first, both of them respected the champion. I like Cotto but he is wrong making that petty demands, the champ should always be announced the last.Comment

it is wrong that just because the challenger sells more tickets he gets the perks of the champion. but i guess thats boxing these days.
if you want to walk in 2nd, get introduced 2nd etc etc then go and earn it. in this case cotto is moving into new waters, he should be a bit more respectful of the champion imo. go beat sergio then you can have it your way because your the champ then.Comment

In all reality who the *** cares if he is A or B side? What matters is that they are going to fight, these two may or may not have something to prove the other on Jun 7th. That's what I care about.
Who comes first, or who come's in second is nothing.
The truth of it is that King Cotto is playing with Martinez head, and it worked. He is crying, he is confused hell, he could not even figure out what Cotto and Max where telling him about A-B Side vs A-B Level boxer lol!
