and i shall provide you with my breakdown i made before the fight happened to prove face off matters a lot!

yea, thanks, theres a thread about dwyer's picks and ive been giving my input and been on a roll.

Are we in agreement with Dwyer fellas because I'm watching some YouTube and I am now thinking the 1/2 line for Hopkins may be profitable.

I am not gonna bet it because Hopkins is one of my favorite fighters and I dont want to bet knowing i may be being biased. Plus , there are gonna be better bets out there

blue - shumy
red - bhop

- Beibut loads up his shots - causes him to tire late. Hopkins does not load up his shots, comes on strong late.
- Hopkins' current trainer has worked briefly with Shumenov in Las Vegas and left because Shumy would not listen. Inside Knowledge.
- Shumy is proud of the fact he is self-trained. Has stated he has been stydying Hopkins closely since his last fight. When you are the only one constantly watching tape, you only get one perspective and you only see what you want to see, you think you see something but
- Lack of experience to know to deal with what you see on tape
- Hopkins has more styles - harder to adjust to
- Shumy carries left hand low, Hopkins' best punch is overhand right
- Hopkins' losses have come only to speedsters - Shumy is not that fast
- Hopkins gameplan will be: back foot, counter, not pressure as a fighter like Shumy will likely get on his bike and Hopkins doesn't wanna have to chase him, once Shumy tires standing in the pocket and land combinations.
- Shumy gamplan: Be more active, will try to load up less in this fight as he realises Hopkins has a great chin and good defence.
- Shumy is good at taking big steps but those shorter steps is why people criticize his footwork
- Bhop did get tagged more than usual in his last fight against an average opponent.
- Less purpose to Shumenov's head movement
- Politics will be in Hopkins' favour for once in his career in this fight. Decision will likely favour him.

- And finally the all-important weigh-in. I thought Hopkins got the better of the weigh-in. Shumy was repeating what Hopkins was saying - that is a subconscious sign of respect - too much respect in this case.
Overall prediction: Shumy takes early rounds through activity, Hopkins begins to tag Shumy. Beibut does not fight well on the back foot. Hopkins starts to pressure and tags Shumy to take a decision.

Alvarado by KO is a bad bet.

Alvarado is not going to impose to size and come forward. He is going to box and move. Marquez has a great chin.

But I do think Marquez prefers for Alvarado to come forward.

Alvarado has wrestling background so he understands how leverage and using his body. He likes putting his body weight in his punches. If Marquez pays attention to Alvarado's feet and legs he will see what's coming.

Marquez is the more dedicated athlete.

Alvarado's loss took more out of him mentally than Marquez's

Alvarado is going to be shocked come fight night that Marquez isnt as past his prime as he was told.

Alvarado leans his head in - Marquez can hit him with his famous uppercut .

I see a dominating win for Marquez. Say there are close rounds, boxing politics are hugely in favour of Marquez. The crowd will be pro-Marquez and arum wants to set up a fifth fight with pacquaio.

Marquez to win at around 1/2 is the profitable bet IMHO

@dan cov, only watched a couple rounds from the campillo fight . Fonfara counters. Has a right hand. Not good defense . Not iron chin but not packing glass like Stevenson is. Active. Good , active jab. Mentally tough. Won't run away from Stevenson which is important. Range and height.

Stevenson is athletic. Power. Great foot movement. Packing a glass chin. Can't fight in the inside which won't be important in this fight but relevant if he wins and fights hopkins. Tenses up incredibly when he throws - a counter from opponent can have great effect. Telegraphs punches.

That is the most likely outcome but i think fonfara at 9/1 and 14/1 by ko are profitable bets.

i just think fonfara can jab jab and time a right hand whilst stevenson throws.

boxing is a great sport to bet because styles make fights .

i got brad-pac spot on, only bet money on boxing twice so far. i dont bet some fights because of fear of robberies - i was really worried they would rob floyd in the canelo fight:




i dont think this weekends fights are great to bet on.

wait for fights where casinos overvalue hype and resumes, and where they dont take into account "style makes fights" enough

im tellin you man, i got 100% record after watching a weighin, pac will win, i can see true confidence, guys dont bet real money on bradley to win

PAC wins by sheer volume of punches. Bradley will have gameplan of throwing more but once you get hit, it changes

I don't see any way bradley wins

yes, sitting down on his pucnhes will cause him to be slower and not effectively counter

I'm so convinced that PAC will win by decision , I am willing to offer anybody avi and sig bets giving 2 to 1 odds

wow i just saw that the ring is smaller than usual!!!!! that makes it less likely it goes the distance!! but i still think froch to win decision at 4 to 1 is profitable!!!!

I must also say that I felt a bit of sadness seeing Sergio during the final press conference. He looked like he knows he is about to lose his belt and I was thinking what will he do? Retire?

If he were to lose I can't imagine he'll fight again. A win and you know he's looking for another huge fight most likely against Canelo( if he beats Lara) or make a desperate attempt at the two ppv stars.
