He does. He said he was willing to even take physical punishment and go down in weight and take the smaller purse. He was mad because he felt disrespected as the champion of the division.

This is what I think. I think he thinks Cotto is saying he isn't very skilled, not that he isn't a huge draw. But he still didn't get it at the end.
