I'll say Martinez by UD 116-112 is my prediction.
It all depends man. I think Martinez has shown his age recently. Sure it was a dominating performance vs Chavez but considering that final round in which we saw JC final put the pressure on, and looking back at his loss to Margarito a while back, and the fact that he looked very vulnerable against Murray, I think Sergio at this stage more than ever is a sucker for a legit pressure fighter. I like Cotto's chances considering he a much better pressure fighter than both Chavez, Margarito, and Murray. I think Cotto's new resurgence of going back to his old style of cutting off the ring and coming forward will take a toll on Martinez's durability and more importantly his leg movement. Once stationary, Sergio will be an ordinary fighter and a victim for Cotto's body punches. Regardless, should be a good one.

Which Cotto almost certainly won't be at middleweight. If Martinez is forced to stand toe to toe with Cotto, that favors Martinez because of his greater size and strength. Murray and Chavez were much bigger and stronger than Cotto. Martinez also won't be fighting with an unhealed knee, a torn rotator cuff, and a broken hand.

That's a good point CB. But if Cotto, being the shorter guy, is able to keep at close distance and take Martinez's range away, I think that plays in Miguel's favor. Won't give Sergio room to punch. However, if he keeps his distance to where Martinez's reach and height advantage won't be sacrificed than I agree with your assumption. At the end of the day, it might simply come down to conditioning man.

Unfortunately for Sergio and his fans, that won't be the case on June 7th.

Sergio has this man SHOOK in the faceoff. He is going to destroy him, basically calling him a prick to his face and Cotto basically admitted it. Cotto is done, good luck to y9ou Sir, you are going to need it.
