I am happy for Cotto but on the same time I feel very bad for Sergio. Sergio might have a chance against Sam Soliman or Quillin. What do you guys think? Sergio had a tough tough career he fought really anyone and when Golovkin came up Sergio was trying to make money, I do not blame Sergio for not taking that fight. Wish Sergio the best.Originally posted by SnakeVen0m View PostHe's such a physical fighter, I doubt he'll even be able to handle him right now. He would probably wear Sergio down.

Freaking insane section and lucky I was rooting for Cotto, in the bathroom I think 3 or 4 were snorting lines cause they were in a stall with no smoke coming out. This was about 30 min before Cotto fight.
Anyway was at Cotto's fight against Trout and Melo's 62 point game and I NEVER saw the Garden this loud. And I been to over 200 Knicks games there.
Awesome fight and Cotto deserves all the credit.Last edited by Miguel Tyson II; 06-09-2014, 10:39 PM.

Surprised you even went to the bathroom. I never go there during fights. For the college games and knicks games, ok. But never for fights, I don't even show up til it's close to Main Event time.

The section I was in from what I saw looking around was the worst in terms of out of control. Behind me was upper corner which a bunch of gang members might have bought up a bunch of $50 tickets or got some discount.
I went to the bathroom about 3 or 4 times, I was drinking tons of water cause hung over from hard liquor, every time was an adventure. First time, PR were chanting "Boricua" and recognized what looked like other members of their crew.
Last time before main event, when this dude was saying, "this bathroom is all Cotto" over and over was probably the craziest, I got the feeling they were hanging in there for a while.
Only crazier fans I have seen at a game were in Gate D or Gate A or whatever at Jets games at the old Giants Stadium where they chanted "show your ****" ....that was when the NFL commissioner had to intervene cause women were being harassed. In a way this fight was crazier cause any of those dudes especially in bathroom could have had blades under their tongue.
At one point since I was rooting for Cotto, Martinez dropped his hands around round 7 to play games with Cotto after fight was lost, and I yelled out, "****ing b***h" without thinking. Luckily no one was offended and whole section was for Cotto.
Either way awesome experience and wouldn't trade it for anything.
On a side note, Christiano Renaldo was at this fight in club level instead of ringside with his model chick, wasn't even shown on the big screen, probably cause he would have got mobbed by fans.... but seriously who the hell follows soccer in U.S.? Tyson was there too but couldn't find him ringside, but I got a look at him live in Brooklyn fight where Garcia took out Morales.Last edited by Miguel Tyson II; 06-10-2014, 02:27 AM.
