Stop grouping everyone into one big category like its some big conspiracy that anyone who thinks Golovkin is a good fighter thinks he decapitates Ali and Tyson on the same night, etc.

There is no rule against that. What I am saying is, lets say he goes up and Beats Ward and takes his belt. Why would he go back down? If he can beat Ward and establish himself as the best SMW, surely..... hes the best MW, no?

I don't mind Ward-Golovkin. I WANT to see that.... If its next, cool. I just prefer Golovkin to get a chance to establish himself as the best MW by fighting Martinez, first. It's not that crazy or hard to understand. Like I said, you just want to see Golovkin lose..... which is fine.... Gennady Golovkin is turning haters into an emotional mess right now.
Like I said previously in the thread. You have to have accomplished something o have haters.

Anyway. I just want to see him fight somebody legit. I'm basically basing my stance on what his supporters are saying. Any time his level of comp is questioned, they claim everyone is ducking him. Cool. Ward isn't ducking him. GGG will fight anybody from 54-68. Let's play ball. Because if Serg isn't available this summer. And none of the top guys at 60 wanna fight. That means he's in with another tomato can waiting on Serg. I've had enough of that.

Also let me clarify your question...You said,"WHO HE DONE BEAT B1TCH?"
First of all its ("Who has he beaten") thats the proper way to say it. Wow....You must be one dumb sunofabltch to type as ignorant as you speak.
He has beaten 29 fighters. Beat 26 by KO. If you looking for a BIG name...smh...there isnt any. But he is capturing the attention of everyone (with a brain) Unlike some BORING fighters who give us snooze fest and lost of interest. okay....boy!
Is this really where yo ignit (yes I said ig-nit) ass went with this? Let's see, in Floyd's second year as a pro, he fought Genaro Hernandez. GGG been fighting damn near a decade and his signature win to date is Matthew Macklin. We'll just puncuate that right there.

Write properly before you lecture other people.

Anyway GGG v Martinez should happen next, but I wouldn't be surprised if Martinez retired after the Cotto fight. Age has caught up to him, and I doubt he is in the business of passing on the throne to GGG in a vicious beat down.

Lol.... This (the first part) Haters acting like guys like Golovkin and Kovalev aren't allowed or don't deserve to be talked about on a boxing forum because they haven't taken out the whole division by their 30th fight (in Kovalevs case, 22nd) ignoring the fact that they have repeatedly said they want to fight the best and aren't even being super pampered like Canelo. These guys just burst onto the scene within the last year, just give them a chance.

Legit criticism is one thing, but you can tell who the pure, jealous haters are.

Ironically and coincidently, most of these same guys had no problem calling Andre Ward the future GOAT by the time of his 10th fight, have no problem saying Deontay Wilder is the future HW champ, and truly thought Canelo was "the one" for fighting 40 Starbucks baristas ....... It's all agendas here and Golovkin is just one of the unlucky guys who happen to not fit certain guys agendAs which is why you get all of these "haters" who absolutely can't stand the fact that someone other then their favorite fighters are being talked about.

Oh and if you happen to like or think guys like Golovkin or Kovalev for example are decent fighters, apparently you also thought Matthysee would decapitate Danny Garcia and send him to the moon

golovkin had the much tougher path to gold it seems to me, much tougher

didn't ward fight at lightheavy so as not to run into dirrell? would have been good if he was in with the rest of'em
Awesome. Which means their careers as pros should have somewhat paralleled. One of them hasn't really fought anybody worth a f.uck in a decade. What the problem is???

Dude, STOP!!! First of all, I got no beef with Kovalev. He's on the proper career path. He's old. But, he's only been fighting since like 09. And he also went to Cleverly's hometown and beat his overrated ass. He's doing what he's supposed to do.

On the other hand, GGG didn't "just hit the scene." This muf.ucka been fighting professionally for damn near a decade. He's not a fresh face. He's not even a late bloomer. He's a decorated amateur that's done absolutely nothing for nearly a decade and has had his balls massaged for it. Feel free to defend him all you want. But the myth that he's some fresh faced 25yr old that's in his third, fourth year as a pro needs to cease.

Okay i guess we will just have to wait to see how it plays out. I hope you give Golovkin credit if he KOs Ward when it's all said and done (I said IF)

He don't even have to make it to Ward. At this point, I'll give him credit if he beats somebody I don't have to look up on f.uckin' boxrec.

I respect both of those fighters but what I think rubs people the wrong way is how they get praised for crushing weak opponents while other boxers get crapped on despite fighting much better opposition.

There's a double standard. You mentioned Andre Ward and he's a good example, he's a prime target of hate from certain GGG fans on here.

But like you said there are people with agendas. Best to ignore them when possible and just talk boxing with the real boxing fans who for the mosrt part are objective.
