GGG was never in a rush, never had to jump in, never had to run back off balance. Adama did.
He knows he has the chin to take it, so he creates more opportunities for himself. He traded not getting hit for counter opportunities, and it paid.
This is part of adjusting to your opponent. Not fighting the same robotic way.
Im sure that if we saw a renouned puncher in with GGG, we would see the necessary defense ala Klitchko who built a great defense out of necessity because of his chin.
Someone else posted compubox stats and compared with wards. Thats the type of thing we're talking about here.
Ward has fought Abraham, Froch, Kessler and Chad Dawson along with others. >__>... you could argue that's not a compliment that he has a lower percentage than ward despite fighting lesser comp.
Anyway, the ring was small and I've always loved how he cuts the ring off against his opposition thus far but he did himself no favors defensively with his footwork. and I agree with a lot of what you said..but you're assuming he CAN do it even though we haven't seen it. I've mentioned maybe its just the level of competition...but until I see it it's still a red flag.

the competition thing goes both ways...maybe he gets hit even less with better competition because he wont just walk thru shots...with not great competition he has no respect for them and eats more shots...it can go either way when he steps up...we will see...i think his defense will be better when he steps up due to respect for his opponent...

exactly, martinez i think stops golovkin by busting his face up.
when is GGG going to fight at least a former world champion instead of a journeyman?? theres nothing to hate, im just curious why you guys suck his **** so much. he has only fought ouma, only former world champ. your prob going to give me a neg rep instead of commenting back, it seems like all the people i school on here do that, as if neg reps mean something lol.
I bet u beleive in triangle theories too
