Be real man... GGG is nowhere near Ward level. I know you like the guy.. good power and all but boxing skill wise, nowhere near. IT would be a frustrating night for GGG and his fans.

golovkin took every power punch adama threw except one on the gloves or shoulder. he ate a few jabs, sure, but that just comes with the territory of being a come-forward fighter. being able to take a shot to land a shot is the privilege of having a steel chin. he never even came close to losing a round tonight. it was a patient, perhaps slightly complacent performance against a guy he didn't appear to respect at all.

While I think the fight could have gone on, I have no problem with the stoppage. The guy was getting hurt. You don't want to continue to take unnecessary shots from Golovkin. Adama didn't do bad though. He gave it his all. But hey, "this is box."

Pigsfly watching the GGG fight today

*pays close attention until GGG gets hit with a good punch*

(adama finally lands a right hand in the 3rd round)

pigsfly: You see guys, golovkin is easily hittable. Just look at that flush, sweet, and nice right hand that hit him right on the kisser. Black fighters will give him problems because they are so slick, doe. GGG getting hit with a jab shows that he's a face first brawler with no defense, and can't fight going backwards. Quillin, 23.45% Martinez, Cotto, Maylegend, and Jacobs at 54.20% all school GGG and send him back to ESPN.

My glob, Golovkin would lose to Andre Ward, one of the 3 best fighters on the planet!? What a bum!

                  Come on, people.

having said that, i definitely think ward would beat triple g. i thought so before tonight and i still think so. that doesn't make him a hype-job. he's still clearly the most dangerous fighter in the middleweight division, even if he is not 100% unbeatable.

Ward is one of the best boxers in the world. To even be mentioned in the same breath as Ward means Golovkin is probably better then 98.99% of boxers out there
