This is common with alcoholics. My friend had one his first week of rehab. He can get through it.

Exactly. Alcohol probably had nothing to do with it. His old profession is the most likely cause. Just because he has a very tough chin does not mean the brain wasn't getting shaken around.

Damn, and it was thought generally that Kelly exited early to ensure he left with his health intact...unfortunate to hear, regardless of whether it's a problem with addiction or his boxing career catching up with him.

Yup, the body doesn't like it when one goes cold turkey, of anything and in some cases it can be fatal.

I'd rather he had it from that though rather than all the punches. That would be more serious. Hope he gets well.
