This is what is really confusing me. The man seems to be planning his career as if he's going to lose to manny, has no chance to beat floyd, and can only make money by staying with TR.

On top of this he has no manager so essentially no one is protecting his best interest.

What the **** did Todd debouef tel his wife during this negotiation?

only in the eyes of a pacquiao nuthugger( i mean fan) if a person refuses to fight another fighter he is considered a coward and a ducker..smh

no, because marquez says he wanted that belt, so if pac was to win and he chooses not to fight pac, then whats ur reason behind this?

I said it yesterday-he is making moves as if he is going to lose. Thats why its so strange. Ruslan and JMM are going backwards, not forwards.ALvarado and Rios are not fights someone of his level should even be entertaining.
I agree with you for sure about going backwards..The way I see it is if he went to Golden boy chasing that Floyd fight chances are he could lose to a Garcia or Turman before he even gets to Floyd and then he loses that $6 million and the possibility of even a 3rd fight with Manny if this next one is a real tight fight. Short term thinking for sure but let's hope it works out for him, he seems to be a good guy outside of the ring from what we see on tv at least.

Naive to think Floyd will fight Bradley simply if he jumps to GB. TB knows this is a long shot and why he stayed put.

TB went for the safe, substantial dollars. He is only 30.

I'm ok with a Provo rematch but I don't really wanna see a Marquez rematch .

No real need for the JMM rematch, the ending will be likely the same and it is just gonna detract from JMM's career a bit...the Ruslan fight should actually happen due to what the fight did to Bradley, the excitement of it and the fact both guys are fairly young and improving, JMM is not going to improve and it's hard to see him beat a sound boxer like Tim, regardless of his obvious disagreement in opinion. Anyway, Tim should be looking forward to his career, if he manages to beat Pac he should go for Floyd if possible, otherwise both these rematches could be better options, a double win over those guys will boost his resume for sure.

I hope i turns out well. He doesn't have to sign with GBP ther are other options.

Question-why would an undefeated ww champion, th 2nd ranked ww in the world, need to fight Thurman or Garcia bfore floyd? That doesn't make sense.

Tim and Floyd would be for the consensus lineal title (there are some like the Transition boxing board that do not recognize a lineal titlist right now) between two undefeated fighters.

They would use the floyd fight to raise his profile and the Broner, thurman, garcia would be after that.
