He quit, plain and simple. It Is a digrace to guys such as Ali(who fought with a broken jaw),Ward, Gatti, Castillo, Corales, Barerra, Morales. I could go on and on. Ortiz Is done, he will never see another PPV or big payday and If he does that would be a shame.

You can clearly see that he was conscious enough in attempting to dodge Collazo's last two punches, Ortiz was not out of it. Victor sat there and watched himself get counted out, all without making an attempt to get up. It's time people stopped defending him....
        He quit alright...

You have about as much as a clue as to what was going on in Ortiz's head as anyone else on this board, no clue. Sure you can take an educated guess, but it doesn't make it right. You're basing your opinion on past experience, they are basing their opinion on Ortiz's track record.
LMFAO!!! Track records...... Ortiz quit 1 fight when his jaw was busted into 3 pieces, what a ***** ah?

**** you and the high horse that you rode in on...............Rockin'

What are you talking about 1 fight? Have you not seen the Maidana fight? He is on his feet and ref asked him to continue and he just shakes his head. He quit willingly.
Did you not see the Mayweather fight? Ortiz wanted out once Floyd was on his way to knocking his ass out and Ortiz headbutted the guy. Then kisses him on the head and stands idle while Floyd 2 pieces him without even trying to put his hands up.
The Lopez fight wasn't quitting, but people gave him **** bc of his past.
He straight up quit against Collozo. Didn't want any more and basically kneeled down and waited for the ref to count him out before jumping up and running over to congratulate collazo. Maybe you just haven't been paying attention to this guys career...

This site is filled nerdy ass cyberspace geeks who work a 9 to 5 and get on here on their spare time to criticize boxers who actually have the balls to step in the ring.
Ortiz is just a typical Mexican boxer..

You know how I decide if someone is a "quitter" ? When they quit. That's what happens when you quit. Even if only for a moment, you're a quitter.

Did he take a quick break? No. Have a little nap? No. He quit. Plain and simple.

"Before you call that Burger King employee a quitter, you'd better damn well have gotten back there and baked a few apple turnovers yourself, man".

GTFO. Boxers are as open to criticism as anyone else.
