Victor has made a decent amount of money and he can surely move into other avenues. He will get hurt one of these days and it's time to move on.

His mentality in that fight was all wrong and he probably underestimated Collazo because he thought Collazo could not punch. His team should have calmed him down and taken the fight more seriously but still he should go before getting in trouble.

With all the REAL talent this sport has to offer, how in hades could this clown ever have been anyone's favorite fighter

Ortiz could be good if he could eliminate his habit of sticking his jaw out. If his chin was tucked, that hook doesn't bother him. Until he fixes that deficiency he is a kayo waiting to happen. I don't know whether it is his training regime, his trainers past and present, or just something that happens when he gets excited in a fight, but it is a pretty serious, basic fundamental flaw.

Plain and simple Ortiz should not be boxing.

I don't Think Ortiz has the passion for boxing anymore. He's heart is not in boxing. Ever since the Floyd fight he comes off as a man who just enjoy being famous.

Vic thought he was going to go in there and just walk right through Colazzo. I think his game plan was to just walk right through him and finish the night early. And just like that -- boom. Back to headlining Showtime cards like the Floyd & Josesito fights didn't even happen.

Unfortunately for Vic it didn't quite work out that way.

He should walk away. He clearly doesn't want to fight for a living, so why try? Boxing isn't a sport where you can fake it.
