Same people asking for others to boycott Mayweather fights are defending Arum's crap cards.
You can't make this up.Comment

Wait, what? Safe to say I disagree, bro. Casuals could give a f**k about anything but the main event but real boxing fans want some actual quality, because we're going to be dialed in from the opening fight on the card. $70 bucks for a night of television is a hefty price and I don't think it makes anybody a "fanboy" for wanting a quality card from top to bottom.
That said, I do understand what Bob is saying. Majority of the PPV buyers are casuals who really don't know **** about the sport. They're just there for the main. They'll buy Floyd & Manny PPVs and act like they're some hardcore boxing fan (I've watched with many of the these types and I'm guessing that most of this forum has as well) but won't know a single guy on any of the undercards.
In fact most of what I hear from tards during the undercards is "man f**k this sheeeeeyat anybody on a undercard sucks" and "can we just forward this bull**** lets just get to the main event goddamn" and "waaahh waaahh waaahh".
Sorry to rant but I f**king hate casuals.Comment

For the most part I only care about the Main Event; but a good undercard just makes it more worth it especially if I'm there. The May Day fight people really didn't show up til right before the main event. The One the crowd was there by the middle of the Ishe Smith Carlos Molina fight. I got to both fights in the middle of the 1st fights.Comment

Well, arum got 500,000 PPVs for Pac-Rios, so business is NOT doing too well. He needs to change the plan. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.Comment

This. While Arum has a point that 90% of the public (read: casual fans) couldn't care less about the undercard and only know Mayweather, Pacquiao and possibly a handful of other names like Marquez, Canelo, Cotto, etc... the undercard is the perfect place to introduce guys you want to push as future money-making stars on a paying public.
For the life of me, can't figure out why Donaire has never been featured on a Manny ticket.Comment
