Arum has no clue. Sports fans that only know fighters like Tyson or mayweather- that's true. But that's minority not majority. Certainly not 90%

If scumbag Bob is only referring to casual fans, he has a valid point. This happens in all sports-for example everyone watched Lebron, kobe, durant but how many watch Tim Duncan?

The problem is he is in a position to correct this. Instead of simply marketing the main event, he could do what GBP does or King used to do and market the 2 big fights or the whole card.

This is what I don't understand about Rigo. why doesn't he just have him fight 3 times a year as the semi main on Manny and Chavez cards.

Tell that to the packed bar I was at watching Matthysse/Garcia. If a good fight is on people will pay attention.

How about if they don't care you make them care? Fans will always watch the fight before the main event.

and u have no clue, because the causal fans are the one buying the fight!! dont act like the people on here contribute a lot to buying these fights when we all know half the people on here stream it only.

because arum is ol skool and greedy, why should he stacked the undercard for when some of those are potential main event fights for him. i do believe that if he would make the undercard more interesting the main fight itself will sell a lot more but obviously arum is still making his doe so he doesnt care.

                    • that's probably accurate. it might be a bit lower with mexican ppv headliners.

casual fans drive ppv sales. lots of the guys on bscene stream fights. casuals don't stream fights. many casuals don't even turn the TV on until the main event is close.
