I hope Ortiz wins by KO tonight and if he gets offered a rematch with Mayweather in May 2014 I'm down to watch it. Ortiz is a exciting fighter whether he wins or loses he punches with authority trying to go for the KO.
Could Victor Ortiz possibly be another option for Floyd in May?

Why? Floyd easily won every round and ko'd him, he is a head case and doesn't have what it takes to be an elite fighter.Comment

You can't afford to wait until Sept because you never know what he'll do. Between the expendables, the underwear modeling, DWTS, and the attention he'll get should he win big tonight, Vic will have a higher profile than khan or maidana. This is how i see it^^^^^^
Ortiz has to beat collazo via spectacular ko, and ortiz has a high profile, and would probably come cheaper than khan's reported 6 million..
but honestly i think they hold ortiz off til sept ppv, that way the expendables 3 movie will already be out, and ortiz's profile will be even higher, plus the controversy in the first fight
ortiz-floyd 2 in sept 2014
Frankly, I dont think there really is a need for a rematch. I am still hoepful its maidana. But I'd take vic over khan. I'd take almost anyone over Khan to be honest.Comment

The p4p king, the guy who says he calls the shots and can generate the best pay days for his would be opponents and Khan and Ortiz are the possible opponents? Comical. I suppose it would at least answer the two questions I know we have all be asking for years, can Mayweather defeat Ortiz without the aid of a sucker punch and can Mayweather defeat the speed merchant Amir Khan? Those endless sleepless nights of contemplating these questions might finally be at an end...Comment

I can't see it
Trying to hype up a rematch on the basis of the BS that happened in the first fight, would only serve to hurt Mayweather's image. I'm sure he doesn't want to remind people of his behaviour in the first fight when he can fight others and let it be forgotten..Comment

We have to remember floyd mayweather could give a crap less about his image as long as lots of people tune in and are interested.Comment
