Mundine did better than any of the American Football athletes who transitioned to Boxing in recent years, he came from Rugby League and transitioned to Boxing. That shows how much talent there is in Australia and the Football codes.

Mundine is one of the best athletes Australia has had.

Getting to the level he has in two sports is quite an achievement for sure, but he wasn't that good at league and isn't that good at boxing.

Wasn't he among the best? I can't really remember. Which players would you compare him to now? I don't think he got to the level Hayne, Inglis, Slater and Sonny Bill got to. But maybe he would have if he stayed around.

I think he did really well in boxing considering the lack of experience he has.

Australian boxing is a joke. Any trash card is PPV worthy.

See the website for the PPV broadcaster in Australia - http://www.mainevent.com.au/

$30 for the GGG fight and how about $50 for the Geale-Wood mega fight.

He wasn't near those guys, he only played origin once and was on the bench for most of it and didn't get picked again. He was good but not at the very top level.

Ok that shows the top players with enough training could have success in Boxing.
