Because it pays to have connections coming out of Notre Dame?

lee's father has connections in the media. lee is also a handsome young white guy, and makes for a great spokesperson for a sub sandwich that's supposedly marketed as healthy.

i would do whatever nastia liukin asked of me.
How do you know my favorite boxers? haha. He'll Andre Ward should be in a subway commercial that actually makes a ton of sense. Olympic gold medalist on top of the game he might ask to much money though. That's why I mention Garcia/Russell. (not a fan of either)

and all Lee does in the commercial is just stand there and say subway eat fresh, Garcia could have done that and it would have got him some more buzz. At least he's a legit boxer.

but I didn't know his dad has connections I see now

if it aint ____ it aint right.

it should have been a top 10 p4p boxer in that commercial.

          sad.

just shows how outdated and useless boxing managers are nowadays.

Just goes to show that who you know can be more important than your actual skills and accomplishments.

Some people are born into privilege or have it handed to them while others bust their butt and never get it.

That same commercial has been playing for about 4 years, they need a real fighter on there who fights top guys, like Gary Russell Jr

I swear, this dude at my work was like hey who is that boxer on that Subway commercial, is he pretty good? I was like, no that dude is a journeyman (he had no idea what I meant) who is miles away from the top of the sport.

Like other have said he's a kid who graduated from Notre Dame. He boxed at Notre Dame and won some school tournament called the Bengal Games or something. Not sure. He was a great student and turned down some Wall Street jobs to box. He used to be a staple of FNFs. I used to make jokes that I was gunna turn his fights into a drinking game and take a shot every time the announcers mentioned Notre Dame, but I'd probably die if the fight went over four rounds. He wasn't very good and very protected. Decent left hook if I remember right. I specifically remember Teddy Atlas saying he had the best agent in boxing because of that commercial, and was kinda douchy when he said it. However everyone agreed because like other have said how the hell did he get that?
