When a challenger is ranked from 6-10, the split is 85-15.

I'm happy because either way Froch is in a compelling match-up

I really want to see him whoop Chavez Jr though...

If another promoter wins it I'm sure there is nothing to say the fight has to be in a stadium in the UK. lol. C'mon son.
Okay, saying 'every promoter around the globe' was a bit ott. But it sounded better than 'a lot of promoters'......

You might be correct. I just skimmed the rules. I'm not sure from where I got my below no.5 line.

I wouldn't blame Groves for turning down that kind of deal.
Every promoter does this. It's procedure. When Hearn made the offer, Groves was not the mandatory. Every champion who makes a voluntary defence of their title asks for options on the opponent. I guarantee all of Floyd Mayweather's contracts contain rematch clauses.

A little off-topic but i think it's really dope they can have a fight like this in Etihad or at the Emirates. That UK boxing support is top notch.

Froch-Groves II or Froch-Chavez Jr., I'm good either way.

Is this if it reverts to purse bids,or if it goes to purse is the split then 75/25 ?

Yeah, that's from number 3 down I think.
