I may be wrong but I think if it goes to a purse bid the split is something like 75/25 for the champion, which if true means Groves stands to get a larger slice of a larger pie if it goes to a purse bid especially if the Promoter who won Klitschko/Povietkin(his name escapes me at the moment) bid wins it because he is likely to bid big.

Yes, sure... Every promoter around the globe is able to organize a fight at a stadium in UK... Sure.

I've seen posts stating that Hearn is only willing to do the fight if Groves agrees to options on his future fights. I don't agree with that kind of thing, it's a typical Warren move and if true it's a shame to see Hearn resort to it now he's the UK's dominant promoter. I wouldn't blame Groves for turning down that kind of deal.

Every promoter does this. It's procedure. When Hearn made the offer, Groves was not the mandatory. Every champion who makes a voluntary defence of their title asks for options on the opponent. I guarantee all of Floyd Mayweather's contracts contain rematch clauses.
