Ray Beltran should be a Champ...

      Other than that, not much.

Im not Puerto Rican, but I really thought Angel Garcia had this one, this year!
Roach had major upsets too, The Russian did not beat Bradley or did I missed that? The Russian beats Alvarado without Roach in his corner or missing in part of his training, so why he gets this credit? Pacquiao comes back against a guy who never fought at welter weight and was coming from his first lost, also a fighter with 2 left feet in Rios...(WOW GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT) and to top it off he gets Gotto and when this dude nocks out this ham and egger of Rodriguez, all of the sudden he is the best in the world again?????

Danny Garcia vs Matthysse was a war and whoever won that match their trainer deserves the trainer of the year, These 2 guys were equally matched, age, power, intestinal fortitude, equal in all ways.....Not one of them seem to have an edge it was a war from 1st rd to last rd......

Definitely should've been Robert Garcia. What he did with Mickey, Maidana and Gradovich is more than enough. I can't name an impressive fight with Roach in the corner this year

You got to be f.uckin' kiddin' me. Robert Garcia was hands down the Trainer of the Year. This is worse that Ring mag giving GGG their Fighter of the Year.
