you would think golden boy would be good for rigo but they aren't doing much for lara though. they wouldn't give him canelo or molina.
Rigondeaux's Manager Gary Hyde's Open Letter to Bob Arum

My question is what the hell does Gary Hyde do for Rigondeaux? If he couldn't use his influence to secure another opponent for his fighter, what good is he? Arum has been trashing Rigondeaux for months. Why isn't his manager demanding or at least trying to get Arum to release Rigondeaux so he can sign with another promoter? Why isn't his manager demanding that Arum get Rigondeaux four fights a year like Arum did for Donaire? Why isn't his manager demanding that Arum get Rigo fights with quality opponents? Rigondeaux has been a pro for four years and has 13 fights. He should have fought that many times in his first year.http://******.craveonline.com/news/3...ng-his-fighter
Interesting ****. Glad somebody is standing up for the guy.
So, again, I ask, what is Gary Hyde doing for Rigondeaux other than writing useless open letters and taking 10 percent of his purse?Last edited by big_james10; 01-28-2014, 07:52 PM.Comment

It's weird hearing a promoter consistently trash his own fighter like Arum does. If anyone has made Rigondeaux unsellable its Bob and his comments.Comment

Tell you what, that very same night I said I wouldn't be surprised if Arum paid Agbeko to sabotage the fight. And I still think there's a slight chance he did.
Why was Arum so persistent with Agbeko if Rigo's team didn't want him?
Yea...

if you think GB or showtime would treat him nicely, u're dead wrong, they're not even talking about him, u really think they would put mares or santa cruz? those are mexicans, that have a fan base, what does rigo have? nsb fan boys? hyde and rigo are not an idiot to break away from TRComment

Maybe because Agbeko was the only name value opponent available that HBO would be willing to shell out the type of purse Rigo was asking for? Just a thought.Tell you what, that very same night I said I wouldn't be surprised if Arum paid Agbeko to sabotage the fight. And I still think there's a slight chance he did.
