King - I will keep reminding people when you all overrate him what this racist is really made of. Whenever he faces any serious opposition (like he did in this video where he got knocked out), you will see his true capability. Darnell Boone knocked him down and he barely survived that first fight and GGG knocked him OUT twice in sparring by the body shot.

I don't understand how he can be overrated. He's undefeated as a pro. That's all that matters. Ward was also knocked down by Boone and Adonis got KOd by him. I have yet to hear a person say he takes out Ali, Tyson and Foreman in one day without breaking a swear. He's indisputably a top LHW, arguably 1,2 or 3, but lets just say top 10..... How can he be overrated?

1st off i'm black, and Kovalev is far from being a racist- racism is hate, and hate is an extreme. Kovalev's head trainer is John David Jackson who is black. If Kovalev was racist he would not be able to stand near or tolerate John David Jackson ! Kovalev is a pretty mean individual between those ropes, but outside of the ring from what I see, he is a good dude. If you look at my history of post's concerning Kovalev, I always state that he has not fought anyone of real note, nor has he faced adversity - but soon both questions will be answered.

His opposition is similar to Stevenson's with the exception of Dawson, the Chad win is difference between them at this point but I think Kovalev would have beaten him too. Stevenson v Kovalev is a great match-up, can't pick a winner.

He has referred to African americans with these exact words "pureblood nig**r", "nig**r", "sunburnt guys", "inadequate", "abnormal" and "likes them less and less everyday". Those are direct quotes from him. I highly doubt you are friends with anyone that would call you these things to your face or refer to a family member of yours with these words. Those are racist words and a nonracist doesn't say those words about people. Now, in regards to his trainer, if you have been around boxing long enough, you know there is few and far between "real friendships". JDJ is getting paid. You are not going to see him and Sergey going to the movies or spending holidays together.
