Yea I think he did too I saw something about taking blood for testing the day before the Matthysse fight maybe it was on showtime that could very well have something to do with it and the fact that Matthysse was knocking guys out left and right at the time pretty much

Ill go with the latter. Matthysse went thru the same testing and was possibly jet lagged. Zero excuses.

          Or Khan.

I think Peterson is the only boxer in history to lose his belt twice but still keep it.

Wait... Burns? I know Beltran was robbed but Gonzalez quit. Or am I missing something here?

He's actually right. He was a beltholder few cared about before Matthysse, and he's again a beltholder few care about after Jean.

Peterson and Matthysse agreed to fight at 141lb. If Peterson lost he kept his title and if Lucas lost he kept his rankings. It was a ploy by GBP to keep both guys lined up for other pay days.

It's going to take a lot more than defeating a glorified B level guy like Jean to make Peterson relevant again....
