Why does he wait until the Broncos lose to say he didn't bet on the Broncos? Was he waiting to see if the Broncos won so he could say he did?

Did he really just release this after Denver lost? It sure won't help end the speculation. He will be busy the next few days denying, denying, denying.

Well, we will find out soon enough if this is damage control or not. If he is lying, it won't be hard to get additional information released/leaked.

I didn't even see that. But that was a soft denial (yelling from the other line, while Fighthype is interviewing his personal massage therapist). I'll take his word for it, but as I said, we will know the truth in a few days as these things are impossible to cover up these days.
