who here has actually been in a ring to spar or fight?

sparred/boxed when i was a kid (12-17). had kids early and started working a job that had crazy hours so i stopped. I train my 2 oldest boys (12 & 15) now, have a gym in my garage and theres a boxing club around the corner from my house that we go to.

I boxed in the army and as an amateur,, record of 18-2,, worked as a trainer, plus still spar as much as i can,, I probably have a few thousand rounds in sparring

I've lost count the amount of rounds sparring I have; I have dont an exhibition fight and may do another this April. It's really fun for me

Sparred in the gym many times, also with guys who are now pros. Never pursued it any further than that. Sometimes wish I did when I see some of the heavyweights these days.

Being that I was an american football player, i would do it for cross training during the off season. But those guys get my respect. Thats when those that havent stepped between those ropes scream about how actual boxers are scarred and all that other trash they talk I just wanna slap fire outta their asses.

I have been in the ams for 4-5 years or so, fighting in the commonwealth games this year! light flyweight and current scottish champion!
