I don't see Ward dropping to MW, and I certainly don't see him as more popular than GGG. So what the he!! is he going on about? And Gennady is in much more interesting fights, not boring ones like Ward is almost always in. Ward needs to man up or shut up.

Because Froch holds two of the super middleweight belts and Ward vs Froch in the UK would be a huge payday for Ward.
So if he is willing to come to the UK to fight Groves, and he thinks Froch would be easy, why not come over, beat Froch, take the money, and go home as undisputed supper middleweight champ?Comment

When they say "feared by everybody" they really mean "feared by Floyd." You know, the same song-n-dance Arum did with Margarito. Remember, while being the most feared, he was simultaneously getting his ass kicked by the likes of Daniel flippin' Santos and an untested Paul Williams.Comment

That's pretty harsh. I do agree that at this point in time, he's been overly hyped -- he needs to start getting some legit W's against prime guys now. It's time to prove the hype. The days of fighting outmatched guys is done. Or needs to be. But I understand that phase is necessary because they're getting him prepped.
But yeah, it's time to put up or shut up.
As for him being another Berto though, that's a stretch. Right now nobody knows for a fact how GGG's going to fare when he finally decides to step to that next level.Comment
