I don't really know with Ward because he's done nothing for so long.

But Golovkin strikes me as a perfect fight he'd want.

Golovkin doesn't want the fight though from what I can tell.

Seems Golovkin's teams less keen on it to be honest.
You're saying it's Golovkin or move up for Ward...but it isn't, they'll just find someone else.

If he wanted the Golovkin fight he'd ask for it, but he never has, I doubt he ever will.

Ward has never sounded keen on a Golovkin fight and apparently has no genuine interest in a Golovkin fight at this point in time.
Thats ward being a team player and company man for HBO who is going out of their way to keep GGG away from him.

Its hard to criticize him for towing the company line.

Neither men are moving up....why are people still arguing about this?

It's clear HBO haven't wanted the two of them to fight but to protect who?

Golovkin was hardly a known draw for them when they put the word out, Ward was supposed to be their replacement for Mayweather.

It's not but like I said Golovkin is the kind of fight he'd be up for I'd imagine, not much risk and a lot of reward aswell as being able to stay away from 175.

                Surely not.

Did they actually say this or are you just presuming?

Everyone has their favs. The boxingscene regulars for the most part are probably the most irrational bunch I've come across. But its all good though. I just think its funny that many of those defending GGG are the same ones who b1tch and moan daily about who Floyd is fighting and who he's not. Its all good though. I'm a Nashvillian. And folks around here think Jake Locker is better than Vince Young and blame VY and Chris Johnson for the current state of the Titans. So irrational is somthing I'm very used to.

                    I thought Golovkin was "154-168".

I don't really follow him to be honest, how long has he been exclusive to 160?

The only reason I'm discussing it is because some people are acting like Ward wants or has asked for the fight, he has never called Golovkin out for a fight.

Carl Froch did and his promoter talked about making the bout, but it was always "down the line" or "ask them how they feel" for Ward.
