    http://espn.go.com/blog/boxing/post/...aims-to-thrill

"Right now my focus is 160; I want to be the best at middleweight," Golovkin said. "Next, it doesn't matter for me. I think next fight, [if] I'm going down to 154, I don't know with who, but it doesn't matter to me. Seriously, it doesn't matter. I just want to fight, and maybe in the future I'm going to 168. I think for me it's good to find good fights there in the future. I like Andre Ward, Carl Froch. There's a lot out there [at 168 pounds]."

    Well, that's what Golovkin actually said for E S P N...

I see you are a GGG nuthugger here is a link him willing to move down to 154 like he said to face the winner of Trout vs Canelo? Smaller guys but Ward is too big? What happened to him wanting to stay at 160 to clean up his division?

If Canelo chose him instead of signing on to fight Floyd he would have fought Canelo fast as hell in September with NO issue of moving down or cleaning up 160! You **** riders are something else

Team Golovkin have only said that recently. They say the only fight they'll go to 154 is Floyd Mayweather, but we all know they needn't hold their breath on that one.

They also said they want Andre Ward when they're on an even financial footing and Ward can't call the shots.

Furthermore, Ward does not want this fight right now. He has never called Golovkin out for a fight, not once.

Are you saying at least he cleared his out and GGG didn't, so he has the right to stick around his division? Im a fan of Andre but that comment is ass backward. When you clear out the division is when it's time to move up.

Ward never wanted the Golovkin fight any more than he wants the Kovalev fight.
Shut the hell up! I have been reading this site and others for the past year or so. And you always talk bad about Mayweather I see why! He knocked out that dude in your avatar!

Now you are saying Ward is scared of GGG? He beat the shyt out of Froch though. And how is the coast clear GGG has a fight against a bum Feb and after he wins that fight him and Ward would both need opponents why not each other?

So a question if Floyd is scared and a ducker what the hell does that make Hatton for getting knocked out by a "coward"?

A "Warrior" for getting knocked out by a coward? Please answer that lol

Ward recently stated that he would end his career at heavyweights...
But who knows? He maybe changed his mind and would rather want to end it at 154. Didn't he call Floyd some time ago?

We have a nervous chap here...
Look: Kovalev also needs an opponent. Why Ward isn't fighting him? They're the same size, etc...

Because Ward doesn't want the fight. Team Golovkin doesn't either, and nor does HBO.

These people trying to push the fight don't understand that Ward has repeatedly said he doesn't want the fight next, read the link.

On the other stuff, this isn't a Mayweather thread. Defend the little man's honour elsewhere.
