It's been said repeatedly that Golovkin is avoided by all of the top fighters at 160. If that's true a fight with Ward makes sense if ,Golovkin will truly fight anybody between 154-168.

Golovkin has absolutely no business moving up to 168 UNTIL he fights either Martinez, Murray or both. Moving up without fighting one of them would make absolutely no sense. Although that seems to be on them, not Golovkins people.

He needs to establish himself as the best 160lber in the world, first and foremost.
