He said he was the closest thing to Floyd Mayweather. Period. There was no caveat. Being the closest thing to Floyd Mayweather (in and out of the ring) would include being the next best in the sport. In Broner's delusional fantasy world he was (and still is) the #2 P4P fighter in the sport.
