that was a good fight. fast pace, both guys used there feet, blocked shots, good head movement. both guys missed lots of shots. the body shot in the 6th & the left hook in the 10th was the difference in the fight. Jennings looks like he could have fought another 20 rounds. he wasn't breathing hard at all when the fight stopped. szpilka looked tired to me by the 10th. when Jennings puts up that 84" guard his elbows are at his waist leaving little target to hit. I was impressed tonight by both guys but more by the pace they set. that was a good win for Jennings. szpilka has nothing to be ashamed about but after the issues in the mollo fights & being down against Saulsberry this fight tells me he is going to level off. Jennings is B level at this point & szpilka is C+. szpilka will beat the journeymen like mollo, minto, etc but he could have real issues when he steps up with the B guys. I don't think his chin will hold up against any of the top 20-25 guys. I love watching him fight & hopefully he will be in more meaningful fights. TV friendly fighter for sure. good effort by both guys & kudos for good sportsmanship by Jennings for twice not hitting him when he was down...

Let's see him against Andy Ruiz or Deontay Wilder.

Sadly Andy Ruiz is probably the most efficient HW.

Tyson Fury is the most accomplished.

Joshua and Parker are the ones with real potential.

Mike Perez and Jennings are probably on the same level.

Impressive victory by Jennings. He boxed well, he was smart about his defense and fought at a measured pace. His footwork was very good and his commitment to attacking Szpilka's body really paid off for him.

My only criticism of Jennings is that he goes into defensive lulls thorough where he's inactive. I guess maybe he's pacing himself but I thought after the first knockdown he could've stepped on the gas a little more and pressed for the KO.

As for Szpilka, after the first several rounds, he seemed unsure of himself and he got way too tentative with his offensive. There were several points were he had Jennings on the ropes but he choose not to engage.

saw some good things from Jennings but won't get excited until he fights a real guy instead of an overrated club fighter like Szpilka...
