The fans? Bull****! They're always b*tching about **** then turn around and pay for it. And then b*tch some more. If the fans had some balls and stood up for themselves then they would control the sport.

Example: Half of the people b*tching about Mayweather vs Khan will end up buying it.

Al Haymon probably has more influence and power right now then anyone, that's easy. Especially with Top Rank declining a bit the last few years.

Exactly. When it comes down to it I like to watch fights....I take what I'm given I guess, but I will complain when it's crap. The casual fans drive it more than hardcore...I'll take what I'm given and watch most fights and ppvs...though the smaller HC fanbase isn't whats going to decide if they succeed like I said. Al Haymon is such an enigma it's insane...he has power, how much who knows, but he has a bit it seems. I don't really know anyone who can tell you what he does or what strings he can pull....just that he can.

GBP easily...this "Al Haymon is powerful" myth is just that, a myth. Just because he has boxers "everywhere" and is boxersnthank him does not make him the most powerful it just makes him a good manager if that. ODH is the most powerful mah in boxing bar none. He is the president of the hest promotional company in boxing today. His influence is quite extensive.
