why is pacquaio ranked top 5 @ ww and he hasnt had a good win in so long?

Previous fight beat unranked Rios and gets number one wbc ranking....a joke

    Marquez put him to sleep

Bradley won a controversial fight, manny should have won but officially lost

Mosley hadn't won a fight in years by the time manny beat him

Got a gift against Marquez where most thought he lost...me included, Marquez at that point had the most definitive fight win taken from him.

If it was another fighter he would be lower top ten or unrated
He hasn't had a legit win over a top 5 guy in years, since last decade

Name the five guys that could beat him

      champ- floyd
      1. bradley---- manny showed he can beat him
      2. jmm---- obviously has a chance to beat manny

maidana, thurman, brook and porter are all potentially able to beat manny, but its not a sure thing,,, manny would kill pretty much everyone else at welter

its fair to say that manny is one of the top 6 or 7 welters in the world, and if he beats bradley he is top 3

It's true, Manny is merely ranked high due to his overall career and past achievements, which is BS. Might as well still include James Toney, Holyfield, and Roy Jones in our P4P lists as well.

Also, Manny has been fighting guys at welter who had to move up to in weight the past years; Bradley, Marquez, and Rios. He hasn't had a good win since Miguel Cotto in 2009.

Because of his last name. Hes still a top guy in the sport but his Rios fight was smoke and mirrors. Im still on the fence to say "hes back". Beating on a punching bag didnt show me anything.

No. Pacquaio would be favourite against a lot of guys right now. The three guys you mentioned wouldn't be.

I like Pac, one of my favorites, but I think it is crazy people still have him so high in the p4p lists, let him climb back up himself lol. If Floyd or Bradley got Iced by Marquez they would be dropped off immediately lol

Possibly, but it's all conjecture at this point. So now betting odds impact divisional rankings according to you? You learn something new everyday I suppose.

Should've could've would've ain't done ****....you actually have to beat ranked fighters to keep your place....Marquez was never ranked at ww until he beat Pacquiao, nor was Bradley, Rios never was and was moving up like them....Mosley was 0 wins in 2 years....face it his name is why he is....it sure ain't what he has done lately.....he hasn't beat real welterweighta since old Mosley and damaged cotto coming off two poor showings
