That TKO stoppage was the 9 count British stoppage coupled with controversy against Chisora.

Negotiations are ongoing to finalize a heavyweight battle between Deontay Wilder (30-0, 30KOs) and Malik Scott (35-1-1, 12KOs), according to Wilder's manager Jay Deas. Deas told Wilder's hometown paper, the Tuscaloo News, that Wilder-Scott is being targeted for March 15th - which is likely the undercard to Danny Garcia's planned defense of the WBC/WBA junior welterweight titles.

On the undercard of Danny's card? Hopefully Scott brings Wilder past 7 rounds.

This is a great opponent for Wilder--a skilled, defensive-minded boxer who uses his feet and counters. Wilder will venture past 6 rounds for the first time.

Feather fisted or not Malik is still a heavyweight that knows how to punch and he may be able to test Wilder on the chin.

Malik is 230 lbs.+ with fast hands and can catch you with counterpunches that you don't see coming. He can definitely put down Wilder if he lands a good one.
