    Look:

Top Rank/HBO = Bigger Paydays, not as many competitive fights
Showtime/GBP = competitive fights, smaller paydays

He can do whatever he wants. If he wants legacy, then go to GBP.
If he wants the money, he'll stay.

Everything that needs to be said on this subject is in this post right here.

Just because GBP has a deeper roster doesn't mean Tim Bradley will make more money. Yeah Broner/Maidana and ShowTime is getting good ratings but Bradley is making more money than all of them. Bradley doesn't care about ratings. He cares about purses.

I just hope that if he in fact resigns with Top Rank, that he gets a very high contract minimum because there won't be a lot of career opportunities for him in the ring.

It's not really fair that he's getting blackmailed by Arum to sign an extension....but guess what? He doesn't have to sign it.

The one thing Tim was really stiffed in was the whole bullshiet from Arum when it comes to the drug testing against JMM.

But aside from that? It has worked out pretty nice to him. He's got a nice place in a triumvirate along with Pac and JMM, which gives him excellent leverage in negotiations. He goes to GBP, he's just another quality fighter - who wont make another big payday apart from a Mayweather fight.

But hey, who cares about thinking about things like this. Let's just hope he leaves TR because all that is important is finishing off Arum and Top Rank.

        Flowmos are just pathetic idiots.

Boxing is only a business to them when it concerns Floyd. For everyone else, boxers need to make the fights they want to see.

But lets say he cares about resume, lets say he really cares about being great, which does seem to be the case, he has that old school mentality that he wants to be the best.

What would do more for his resume, Another Ruslan victory and Alvarado?
Or victories over Thurman, Garcia, Khan, Ortiz, and maybe even Mayweather?
Because to me he easily beats 3 out of the 4 of the fighters.
Let's be honest, Bradley has a very good resume already, being talked about as a hof already as well..It's not like Bradley will never leave TR, and it's not like every fighter with gbp, are never going to leave or seek other deals..Bradley has to do what's best for him at thus point in his career..Money wise HBO and TR can offer more at this point..

          • Someone hit Bradley up and tell him to never resign with TR. We enjoyed his fights with Ruslan/Pac/Marquez but we don't need to see trilogies. Much better fights like Thurman,Porter, Mayweather, Maidana need to be made

Is the contract extension based on fights or time? Because if it is based on fights, then what is to stop Top Rank from putting another extension in the contract every time he's on the last fight of a contract extension? And if he signs a time based one, he'd better be careful. Otherwise he could rule out the possibility of a Mayweather showdown, since Mayweather is retiring soon. And Mayweather doesn't need to fight Bradley. He could finish his career fighting guys like Garcia, Khan, Maidana, and one other Golden Boy fighter.

              • It's a violation of the Muhammed Ali Act.

“prohibits a promoter from requiring a boxer to sign an exclusive promotional agreement as a precondition to obtaining a bout agreement with another boxer signed by the same promoter.”

                  • I guess he could move up and Face Cotto @ 154 PPV
                    Pac rematch PPV
                    Marquez rematch
                    Prov rematch
                    Alvarado
                    Rios

                    But with Golden Boy
                    Mayweather PPV
                    D. Garcia
                    Khan
                    Miadana
                    Broner
                    Mathysse
Canelo if he can move up PPV
                    Ortiz
                    R. Garcia

If they promise him Cotto in the future along with a Pac rematch if he loses (Maybe he will have a rematch clause like Broner)

Mayweather and Canelo would probably get him the most money but I'm not sure if he would definitely get those fights if he went to Golden Boy.

You have to factor in what would happen if he loses against Pac (Think he can win on the cards this time?) He would not be in the running for a fight with Floyd. He would have to win and then go.

I just don't hope he rushes in to a decision until he hears what showtime has to offer money wise. Maybe he can juggle between the two networks and do 2 a 3 fights in 2015 at showtime. and after 2015 see where he stands. Im a layman so i geuss his advisors in the background have meetings with showtime and goldenboy also to atleast see what they have to offer bradley.

he is undefeated and he has defeated on paper at least elite competition, so at the moment he has a lot of bargaining power. I think he can make a lot of money with a mayweather fight if he manages to beat pacman againand stay undefeated in 2014 at HBO. Basically im trying to say i dont hope he rushes and signs in to a extension contract because that is asked of him if he wants to fight pacman. At the moment he has a lot of bargaining power at HBO so i geuss he can negotiate to fight pac without a mandatory extension in the contract, atleast i hope so.
