I agree it's pointless but I don't think a fight with Postol is any better. He might be ranked highly by the wbc, but what does that mean really. His best wins are against Corley and Lundy. Herrera showed he could at least give Provodnikov and Alvarado tough fights.

        Agreed.

Herreras not a bad fight, but takes away if he only fights 2 times this year.

After this I hope rematch with Matthysse or unification with Pederson/Jean

In one of my college courses an "African-American" didn't even know where Africa is on the mapa, how are you still classified as "African American"??

Your born in America, Your American!! Get over it!! Your No different then the people who "discovered" America.

Stop being posers don't cling to a culture that's not yours.

I'm Cherokee Native American, Anybody that lives in America is a white boy!

Want to be Italian-American well then move to Italy poser! It's not hate it's the truth

Puerto Rican Parade in Philly is DUMB!

Hey let's go have an American Parade in Austrailia!!

Back to the topic The Herrera fight ain't a bad fight, want to see him more active though
You can't compare Latinos and black people. Most African Americans parents aren't African born, they don't talk any African languages, they don't listen to African music. They don't root for any of the African World Cup soccer teams. Never been to an African country. Most Latinos are more In tuned with the culture and do all that I mentioned. They also don't deny being American, just ppl think they do because they strongly acknowledge being Latino.

That is what i want to see,,, If he aint gonna jump up for a floyd fight this year, then clear out 140 by fighting jean/pete winner,, and maybe lucas rematch in the fall,, Then pauli or someone like at 147 that in january and garcia would be in good shape for a floyd fight in may of 2015

The ardent and intelligent boxing aficionados on the island that comprise the market will get an opportunity to see first-hand how real their Boriqua son is and definitely jump on board. It’s an extremely astute market that will see Swift’s infinite potential. Great idea by GB, and I don’t have any issue with the opponent.

                    *** it! WAR SWIFT!

this is an easy fight, but harrera isn't a total can. fighting in PR is obviously good to bolster his image among puerto ricans.

harrera isn't all that relevant, but he's not a bad fighter. he did beat ruslan provodnikov in early '11, if any of you care to recall.

he's a light puncher who moves well. he's got a good chin, and has never been stopped. expect him to finish the fight and lose.
He also had a good fight with Alvarado. They traded some good shots.
