It's a pointless mismatch. Garcia should be fighting a top 10 guy like Postol. Of the available options, he's the best. Ideally, he'd be fighting Provodnikov but Provonikov fights on HBO and Top Rank has an option on him.

Showcase fight for my boy swift. Not the best opponent but it's not like anyone can say he's ducking anyone. Perhaps he just wants more defense before letting go of his belts and wants to leave the division in impressive fashion. Who else at 140 can he fight?

He could but it wouldn't really be necessary. If Peterson won he'd just beat the man who got ktfo by the man he beat, the same scenario as PAC fighting clottey. Next step is to step up to 147 and get some straps. GB finally starting to market danny and see his worth.

I like Danny. But somebody needs to teach this guy some Spanish. It's gonna be embarrassing when he's in pr and needs a translator. Maybe gabe rosado can help the man out lol don't understand how you can grow up in a Puerto Rican household or mexican and not know a lick of Spanish.
