After many months of inactivity because of Haye twice pulling out, Fury needs a warm-up. So at this point in time, Basile is an acceptable opponent.

after a year off he gets a chance to take out basile with his 2 belts it should help his ranking a little. mid round KO coming...this is a decent matchup for since he plans to fight in april, again leading up to a chisora rematch. if everything goes as planned. chisora\fury could be an eliminator for WBO...

Fury let himself go a bit at christmas and won't be in 100% shape for this fight, so it makes sense to take an easier opponent. Hopefully he stays in shape for his next fight which should be against a more serious opponent

I expect a Chisora fight after this. We all know Chisora will fight him anytime he wants.

The WBC sure does move in mysterious ways. 18 month ago this 38 year old fought for there youth title. "Bazaar"!
