And Hagler was the one who rushed Hearns, not the other was around

To beat Floyd you need a stiff ass jab and be able to go to the body against the ropes because she makes you miss wildly swinging at his head. Floyd can't fight going backwards, he needs to time you to counter, you have to put pressure on him with lots of punches and the jab... Khan has no shot.
No he didn't. Which is why Hagler rushed right at him and walked through everything he had to knock him out. He didn't enter that ring with any respect at all for Hearns.

          Not smart enough.

Khan has all the physical tools needed BUT he doesn't have the smarts or chin. In a fight like this, you'll see Floyd's solid punching ability have an effect. He should stop Khan. Khan does not belong in the same ring BUT I have seen stranger things. Floyd will be 37 by fight time, Khan is perhaps the fastest fighter in the sport, and has a very cerebral coach in Hunter. If he has learned ANYTHING about defense, look out. If not, May by stoppage. I can't stand Floyd by the way, but I try to give honest assessments when it comes to boxing and logic. Do you agree with what I just said about how the fight could play out?

Ambushing Floyd would be a huge mistake on Khans part, Ortiz somewhat tried it and got very fustrated

Khan needs to fight at range and move in and out using his fast hands and jab, also hitting to the body, one thing Khan does well is indeed hitting to the body.

He needs to keep moving and never stay in pocket, keep his right hand up at all times guarding himself from left hook which he seems to get hurt by.

Basically do what he did against Zab and Paulie

Khan gotta be on his best stick and move game imo...he's gotta make fmj be the
aggressor, fmj isn't used to that role...khan is longer and taller than fmj....
He better use that to his advantage all 12 rounds like his life depended on it...
make fmj take some chances he wouldn't ordinarily take...that's his best chance..
luckily for khan, fmj doesn't fight with the tenacity of a hagler

Khan might end up punching and KOing himself

I'd say he felt the shot that almost dropped him in the first round.

Floyd can't fight going backwards Have you not seen Castillo 1 &2, Hatton, Ortiz, Corrales, Gatti, De La Hoya (rds1-5) just to name few, or any of floyd fights prior to the de la hoya fight. All these guys above put pressure on floyd and got picked apart. 1st Castillo fight was close, and de la hoya was close in the first 5 rounds.
