It's not a great card, but it's solid. I think the December 14th card last year was better. I think this card and the December 14th card are both better than the Pacquiao vs. Rios PPV.

I think people are confusing the quality of fighters with the quality of the cards. Of course Pacquiao is more of a quality fighter than Canelo, but the Canelo-Angulo card definitely has more quality than the Pacquiao-Rios card.

Schaefer, while I commend him for making good fights just needs to shut up. For one he's very vulgar when someone criticizes him and he overselling everything. He kept claiming there would be 20,000+ for Broner vs Maidana but wound only being 11000 after they gave a bunch of tickets away.

That's Broner and Maidana though. This is Canelo. He filled 40,000 seats in San Antonio. Mayweather and Canelo sold 2.2 million PPVs. I don't think Schaefer has to lie for Canelo's sake. For other fighters he does go overboard with his claims though.
