Comments Thread For: Lara To Hunter: Angulo is a Quitter, I'll End His Career!

THAT is about EIGHTY or so 'Freak Accidents' causing his SKULL around his left eye to CAVE IN. What you see (swelling) is what happens when the body experiences serious trauma. What people need to realize that Angulo knew he would have DIED if he fought any further....THAT'S why he quit.

Except for the time it happened with Angulo vs. Lara.
Oh, and the time with Shane Mosley vs. Fernando Vargas, and Jesus Soto Karass vs.Andre Berto, and Guillermo Jones vs. Denis Lebedev, and Erik Morales vs. Marcos Maidana, and Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito, and Omar Figueroa vs. Nihito Arakawa, and Delvin Rodriguez vs. Pawel Wolak, and Mauricio Herrera vs. Ruslan Provodnikov, and Nigel Benn vs. Chris Eubank.
I could go on and on, but I think my points are pretty clear :
1.) Severe swelling happens all the time in boxing.
and
2.) You're a moron.Comment

Vargas fought with his eye worse then that for 6 rounds man so did margarito...i like angulo but the dude quit no doubt about it!!Comment

lara can say all he wants to,but slow,no defense Angulo had him on his ass twice and it was a close fight, lara was supposed to shine against a very limited fighter and he didn't,,he's upset that he's a nobody in this sport, just a boring fighter who brings nothing to the table, why is he calling out canelo who just lost?.is he that desperate for money? go make your own career, fight other champs, call out other fighters who are winning, don't call out a guy who just lost,if he cant get good fights at 154 then move up and challenge golovkin, imagine if a very limited fighter in Angulo dropped him silly what would this guy do,he needs to shut up
Vanes refused the rematch because he complained that he would need one extra week for his cut to heal. I don't remember how far off the projected rematch was from that fight but basically Vanes didn't want to rematch due to one week, instead opting for a fight on a Macau untelevised undercard.Comment

Actually it was the other way around: given the mat was soft, small ring size, hydration limits in the contracts, everything was set up to so Angulo would look good against a reputed boxer. But then Lara never got the script.
