Thanks.... Great to hear from a guy who knows what he's talking about. He is a powerful speaker in terms of his personal standing as a respected person which can increase effect at times, but actual 'political speech power' isn't his best asset... he even had to learn Ukrainian properly in the last few years to give his party speeches and interviews etc. Anyway, as i've said people have become impatient and some aren't interested in peaceful protest, if after months nothing changes this is understandable...nothing Vitali or anyone else can do right now to stop that, no-one has enough power. My father was in Kyiv a few days ago and he said the protests were ongoing in terms of demonstrations but there was no rioting or violence at the time. He has to keep a constant track on it anyway because he is the head of Euronews (Ukrainian section) based in Lyon, France. Anyway, as he said to me, hopefully no-one gets seriously hurt or killed because it will then spiral out of control completely...moron Yanukovych isn't compliant or helpful in any way at the moment though, even snubbed Vitali and got his aides to attend a promised meeting today.
BTW, if anyone is interested, heres a satellite map pic where I pointed out how close my residence in Kyiv is to the protests, just a few hundred metres away:
