That fight is very likely to happen in the future anyway, maybe for a belt.
You can't compare this situation to the DeGale-Groves one.

I shouldve stated "given" instead of give cuz its long overdue though rite now as you both stated doesnt make sense. This rematch couldve happened sooner and that too for a World title as both have been ranked high for a while. Groves ofcourse has been hesitant. I cant compare situations, but the whining and the moral high ground Groves is pulling is extra ordinary. The fight was way too close and their rivalry is good for boxing and im afraid if it takes too long it may lose its luster.

Froch knows he stands a chance to lose to Groves so he's avoiding at all cost, that much is clear. He's only out for the final paydays that would come with rematching Ward and fighting Chavez.... tho if he doesnt give Groves the rematch, i dont think he deserves his with Ward...

Ward pitched him a shutout with zero controversy behind it... Yet Froch begs and pleads for it. but when it comes to his controversial win that many people saw him losing at the time of the stoppage, doesnt even get a 2nd thought from Froch, its a NO? FKK off then Froch.

Stevenson was an unknown fighter at the time who hadn't done ****. You do realise the timeline of this? By better I mean better in every single way. Kessler was higher ranked, it was a unification fight and it paid significantly more money.

People are now using hindsight to say he should have fought Stevenson instead. It's comedic.

groves needs to STFU! it was not a mandatory defence so he had his chance & never finished him off...

Only reason Froch can say no to this fight and not look like a duck if he fights with Ward

Other than that if he fights anyone else it is a duck

5 million pounds that is close to 10 million dollars has been offered to Froch for the rematch, no boxer will bring him that much money.

The whole point is that he wasn't given the chance to. They gave the fight to Froch, literally. Just handed it to him. He certainly didn't finish Groves himself. Who knew how the last three rounds would turn out.....

Groves is too heavily invested in Froch. He should realize that he can fight other fighters and doesn't need Froch. Groves should fight Ward. Why is he demanding to fight a fighter that doesn't want to fight him?

Froch will fight him this year. The money is too good not to.
