Bute did nothing of note in the fight until about rd 11, very piss poor effort by both men but sadly Pascal's flurries for 30 seconds of each round were enough to win most of them.

Who cares about landing punches as long as you are pawing constantly with a pitty pat jab and moving around like you are seizing the whole fight totally petrified to engage an opponent?

Bute is a shell after that Froch beating, all Pascal would have needed to do was push the pace and he could have gotten rid of him.

Not sure what's happened to Pascal, when he was at 168 he had decent workrate and was a lot more agressive, ever since going to 175 he's had crappy stamina and fights in 10 second spurts

Imagine of Bute did somehow get the nod.

Froch would have been ecstatic.

He could have earned a massive purse and smashed him in about 3 rounds in a rematch.

Someone else mentioned it but Bute overstates his own own fragility. He took some solid shots from Pascal but he he refused to exchange and had the rabbit in the headlights look when hit.
