Well with that win Pascal just put himself back into the picture of some good fights. Ward, Stevenson, Kovalev, Froch rematch, Dawson rematch, all are possibilities for Pascal.

He ignored him when Bute approached him. Barely acknowledged him. Not that it's a big deal or worth even mentioning, but you can tell that he truly doesn't like him for whatever reason.

That's probably over 4 million in revenues for two boxers approaching retirement.

The only reason, Pascal took it easy on Bute was to insure a rematch. But Lucian did so poorly that such a fight is barely credible.

Bute should retire and Pascal looked good, if he can continue improving he is still relevant.

By the way, Pascal and Stevensons are very good friends and part of the same team. This is why they won't fight.

Hopkins is, at best, the fourth best fighter in the division. Being shut out by Dawson and beating Cloud (someone who'd been comprehensively beaten a year earlier by Campillo) doesn't give you bragging rights over the entire division.

Bute has never been B level... Ever... He was C level at best and that's being generous.

He was protected similar to that of Canelo, although I think Canelo was protected a hell of a lot more, but it's close. In order to get past C level you have to fight somebody.

I think people underestimate Pascal way too much. Im not saying Pascal is beating Stevenson or Kovalev, but Pascal is not an easy fight for anybody, hes a live dog and he will fight back for his life, dude has a lot of heart. I think he fought a really intelligent fight tonight and impressed me a lot, he dominated the whole fight.
