Loss or draw was fair he could have been given the first 5 fairly but even those first 5 and throughout Perez mailed in his performance.

Perez was verry disapointing. Verry bad stamina and no snap in his punches.
Hopefully he will do better next time. It might be because of Mago.

He looked like he didn't want to be in that ring. Lethargic, unmotivated, more defensive and less offensive than usual. I can't blame him.

Perez looked very unmotivated from the start like he wanted to just get the job over and done he is fortunate that Takam started so slow a draw wasn't a bad score for the fight but I had Takam winning close.

            I agreed with the draw
I thought Perez won the first 5 and Takam won the last 5. I definitely think the Mago fight has effected Perez though

Really, really awful fight. Maybe Perez needed a bigger test to arouse his interest.

I had the first 5 rounds for Mike Perez and the last 5 rounds for Carlos Takam. I do think though a possible 10-8 round could've been judged. I think a rematch will likely get setup or they'll feed Takam to Bryant Jennings. But I could see Perez vs. Takam 2 on the undercard for Golovkin's April fight.

You're either underestimating Takam or overrating Jennings.

As far as the fight goes, it's hard to say if it was the cut/blood or the Mago tragedy. Only time will tell and we should get a better idea Perez' next fight. Maybe a rematch will be the best indicator.

I don't have a problem with the draw however, Takam won his rounds more clearly than the rounds Perez won.

Once Takam turned it on it was over for Perez. I don't think it had anything to do with the fight in December.
