i would love to see matthysse vs maidana in argentina. i know that they are friends, but i think they';re the type who could go to war in the early evening, and go out for steaks and beers after it's all over.

argentines know steak. they consume about as much beef as anybody else on the planet. i'm sure these two know their beers as well.

            freak eye injury,

it was a clean punch from a very good puncher.

Glad Lucas has recovered from Garcia intentionally thumbing is eye in with no permanent damage. Takes a tough hombre to deal with cheaters who would rather poke your eye out than take an L.

Cant wait to see Lucas back in the ring, always exciting fights!
Hey, since we're doing rematches, how come Maidana Broner II is shoved in our faces but theres no Matthysse Garcia rematch talks?
oh right... forget I even asked.

Matthysse-Judah II on the Mayweather undercard would be a good fight imo.
Though it would give Matts a chance to avenge one of his losses, it would be nice if he got a more meaningful fight. Zab didn't look good against Paulie, and i'm tired of him getting chances.

Stylistically, Matthysse could in theory give Mayweather a tough fight and even beat him but it depends on his footwork. Mayweather has never beaten a world class brawler like Pacquiao, Maidana, or Matthysse. I think Mayweather prefers fighting orthodox boxer punchers who have poor footwork.

Mayweather is good but I want to see him in against an opponent who doesn't respect him.
