This is just pathetic. Nobody wants to see this fight. How will Mayweather sell this fight? "Amir Khan is a young hungry lion." "Amir Khan got heart. He always gets back up." Why do people On here get so worked up over "selling the fight"?? I think the people that buy this fight doesn't buy it for the story line but for the fight itself. It's just funny when I see reply like how are they gonna sell this fight.

Huge joke of a fight. At this point it won't even matter when Floyd retires since he doesn't want to fight the best anyways. He hasn't picked a good opponent in over 6 years. I could understand him fighting Guerrero though since there was no one else to fight at that point in time. But the rest were all garbage cherry picking fights.

Had a great convo about Mayweather tonight with an old head who pointed out Floyd hasn't fought a black boxer in their prime since he fought Judah. Couldn't help but think of how Jack Johnson did the same thing because he knew the white boys didn't know what the black boxers did and that black boxers would be more familiar with his style. I find it quizical that Floyd hasn't talked at all about Bradley and his pending contract running out too...or thurman..or even devon when devon was champion..I know I know they don't have the fan base but still is there something to it or not?

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer is trying to finalize a fight between WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. and British superstar Amir Khan. Mayweather is scheduled to return on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
